Hope Afloat

Hope Afloat - Installation and Performance 16.12.2010 (shed^10) - 17.12.2010 (Upper Queen St) Auckland NZ. In association with Sustainable Coastlines NZ  Hope Afloat was created using 400 solar powered LED fairy lights and 120KG of collected plastic waste from the Rangitoto Island coastal clean up event. Approximately 2 cubic meters in scale, the waste used in this installation was less than 10% of the overall waste collected from Rangitoto Island.

The Value Waste Procession

The Value Waste Procession utilized a working Transpacific Waste collection truck in combination with 400 solar powered LED fairy lights. The glowing truck performed its usual duties within the commercial district of Wellington NZ for one night only 18.11.2010. Materials: Rubbish Truck, duct tape, 400 solar powered LED fairy lights
